The Shocking Betrayal at WWE Night of Champions 2023
TL;DR
The Bloodline story took a dramatic turn at WWE Night of Champions as Jimmy Uso super kicked Roman Reigns, costing him and Solo Sikoa their Undisputed Tag Team championship match. The event also saw Cody Rhodes wrestling with a broken arm, Asuka ending Bianca Belair's reign as Raw women's champion, and Zoey Stark interfering on behalf of Trish Stratus. Seth Rollins won the World Heavyweight championship, but the title still feels like a secondary world title. Overall, the event was filled with booking surprises, new champions, and a path forward to Survivor SummerSlam.
