WWE is rumored to announce a World Heavyweight Championship match between Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura for Payback 2023 on RAW. The two superstars haven't had a singles match in over 800 days, and their last encounter was on the March 26, 2021, episode of Friday Night SmackDown. The road to Payback 2023 began with Nakamura attacking Rollins during a six-man tag team match, leading to a feud between the two. The match has the potential to main event the event.
