WWE's 'SmackDown' Makes Network Switch in New Rights Deal

WWE and NBCUniversal have reached a five-year domestic media rights deal that will move Friday Night SmackDown from Fox to USA Network starting in October 2024. The agreement also includes WWE producing four primetime specials per year for NBC. Raw, WWE's flagship show, is not part of this deal. Financial terms were not disclosed, but it is expected to be a significant increase from the previous SmackDown deal. WWE also has an exclusive U.S. streaming deal with Peacock through 2026.
