Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) is expected to take a break from AEW TV following his loss of the AEW World Championship to Samoa Joe at Worlds End. Despite his influence on his creative direction, injuries and the completion of the Devil storyline with Adam Cole are likely reasons for his hiatus. MJF's contract status remains a topic of speculation, with claims of it ending in 2024 and rumors of a renewal. Meanwhile, MJF emphasizes the importance of AEW responding to constructive criticism to improve the product and acknowledges the high standards fans hold for him and the company.
