Apple TV Sets The Savant for Spring 2027 with Jessica Chastain

Apple TV has finally scheduled the Jessica Chastain–led thriller The Savant for Spring 2027, months after it was pulled in 2025 amid political sensitivities. Chastain, who serves as star and executive producer, is against the pause but hopeful the series will reach audiences soon. The show follows Jodi Goodwin, a veteran who infiltrates online white supremacist forums to stop domestic terror plots, and was adapted from a Cosmopolitan piece by Melissa James Gibson. The release had been postponed to wait until after the midterm elections, and while Apple’s site still lists it as coming soon, a concrete premiere date is now set for Spring 2027.
