Clueless Sequel Series Lands at Paramount+ with Alicia Silverstone

Paramount+ has ordered a limited Clueless sequel series starring Alicia Silverstone as Cher Horowitz, with filming in Los Angeles planned for 2027. The show, from Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage and Jordan Weiss for Fake Empire, with Amy Heckerling and Robert Lawrence producing, picks up 30 years after the original film as Cher balances business and motherhood while guiding her daughter through high school. The project, previously in development at Peacock, marks a CBS Studios–driven pickup and a homecoming for the Clueless IP following the streamer’s merger.
