Colbert Reveals The Late Show’s Unaired Field Pieces
TL;DR
Stephen Colbert uses “The Worst Of The Late Show” to look back at field pieces that were fully shot and produced but never aired, pulled for reasons ranging from not landing jokes to questionable ideas—and some were expensive flops. Examples include Bootsie Plunkett’s haunted-house healthcare bit, a pugs‑against‑Trump rally segment with only one good joke, a 1990s convention piece, and a Chicago trip with Paul Dinello. Colbert notes this era is ending and hints at his final guests, while viewers can watch the extended reel below.
