TL;DR

Prime Video has renewed Every Year After for a second season, with the new season drawing from Carley Fortune’s sequel One Golden Summer to tell Charlie Florek’s love story. The first season’s cliffhanger at Barry’s Bay continues, and the show will bring back key cast (Sadie Soverall, Matt Cornett, Michael Bradway, Elisha Cuthbert) under showrunner Amy B. Harris, with Fortune remaining involved. The adaptation expands the Barry’s Bay world as viewers await the next emotional chapter.
