Apple TV+ has renewed Widow’s Bay for a Season 2, and creator Katie Dippold explains the Season 1 finale’s key twist: Mayor Tom Loftis discovers the island’s curse is tied to his family when Ruth Livingston is revealed as the mother of his late wife, making his son Evan the island’s last descendant. The interview also covers balancing horror and humor, the ongoing mystery of the underground chamber, and how Season 2 will push the story forward.
