TL;DR

The Agency, a new spy thriller on Paramount+ starring Michael Fassbender, is a close American remake of the French series Le Bureau des Légendes. While it features a star-studded cast and fast-paced plot, it lacks the original's depth and character connection, particularly in the chemistry between Fassbender's character and his love interest. The show is entertaining but may leave fans of the original feeling a sense of ennui.
