TL;DR

NBC has ordered two comedy pilots to series: Sunset P.I., a private-eye detective comedy led by Jake Johnson with a logline invoking the LA hard-boiled tradition, and Newlyweds, a later-in-life rom-com starring Jamie Lee Curtis (recurring) alongside Téa Leoni and Tim Daly. Jane Lynch and Katey Segal’s therapist comedy is not moving forward, and Universal Television is producing both pilots.
