Peacock Bids Farewell to Ponies After One Season

Peacock has canceled the Cold War spy thriller Ponies after its eight-episode first season, despite positive critical reception (a 94% Rotten Tomatoes score) and a high-profile cast led by Emilia Clarke and Haley Lu Richardson; the series debuted Jan. 15, but Peacock does not release regular streaming ratings and Ponies did not appear on Nielsen’s top streaming charts. The show was co-created by David Iserson and Susanna Fogel and produced by Universal Television.
