Scooby-Doo: Origins Completes Netflix Live-Action Cast

Netflix’s live-action Scooby-Doo series Scooby-Doo: Origins has unveiled its full main cast: Maxwell Jenkins as Fred Jones, Tanner Hagen as Shaggy, Abby Ryder Fortson as Velma, and Mckenna Grace as Daphne, with Paul Walter Hauser also set in an undisclosed role. The show is currently filming in Atlanta for a 2027 premiere and is described as a modern reimagining set during the gang’s final camp summer as they investigate a mystery surrounding a Great Dane puppy that may witness a supernatural murder. Writers are Josh Appelbaum and Scott Rosenberg, with executive producers including André Nemec, Jeff Pinkner, and Adrienne Erickson; Toby Haynes directing the first episode, and Warner Bros. Television producing via Berlanti Productions and Midnight Radio.
