Widow's Bay Grabs 19 Emmy Noms, Marking a Major Debut
TL;DR
Apple TV+ horror-comedy Widow's Bay, from Katie Dippold and Hiro Murai, earned 19 Emmy nominations—including Outstanding Comedy Series and a lead nod for Matthew Rhys—making it the top new-show haul of the year. The nominations span acting (Kate O’Flynn, Dale Dickey, Stephen Root, Hamish Linklater, Betty Gilpin) and crafts (production design, casting, directing, cinematography, editing, music, sound). Not all episodes were submitted due to timing, which makes the tally even more impressive amid competition like Pluribus.
