Duncan Sheik Debuts Manga-Inspired Memoirs For Off-Broadway Fall

Duncan Sheik will score Memoirs Of Amorous Gentlemen, a manga-based musical adaptation of Moyoco Anno’s graphic novel, premiering Off-Broadway this fall at The Night Egg in Chelsea. Rob Ashford will direct and choreograph, with Leah Nanako Winkler writing the book and Or Matias supervising music. The production marks one of the first Manga-to-English-language musicals in the U.S.; additional dates and casting will be announced later.
