TL;DR

Kristin Chenoweth stars in the Broadway adaptation of 'The Queen of Versailles,' a musical that satirizes American excess and the 2008 financial crisis through the story of a wealthy family building a massive mansion. The show blends humor and tragedy, with Chenoweth delivering a standout performance, though the production's scale and shifting tone challenge its emotional impact.
