Schmigadoon! and Ragtime Dominate the 2026 Outer Critics Circle Awards

Schmigadoon! and Ragtime each earned five awards at the 2026 Outer Critics Circle Awards, sharing top honors with Schmigadoon! winning Outstanding New Broadway Musical and Ragtime taking Outstanding Revival of a Musical; Ragtime also earned Lead Performer (Joshua Henry), Featured Performer (Ben Levi Ross), Outstanding Direction (Lear deBessonet), and Outstanding Video/Projection Design (59 Studio), while Schmigadoon! won for its Book, Choreography, Orchestrations, and Costume Design. Death of a Salesman revival was the season’s most-awarded play with four wins, and The Lost Boys picked up two design awards.
