Stranger Things Stage Prequel Bids Adieu to Broadway and the West End
TL;DR
Stranger Things: The First Shadow will close its Broadway run at the Marquis Theatre on January 3, 2027, and its West End run at London’s Phoenix Theatre on December 27, 2026, after more than three years; the $20 million production has not recouped its capitalization despite Olivier Awards and multiple Tony wins and nearly 1.6 million tickets sold across both runs.
