Tom Holland's 'Romeo & Juliet' Debut: Mixed Reviews, Zendaya's Support Shines
TL;DR
Tom Holland's star power can't save this lifeless and gimmicky production of Romeo and Juliet in London's West End. Despite strong performances from Holland and Francesca Amewudah-Rivers, the show is bogged down by oppressive staging and unnecessary live camerawork, making it feel more like a failed attempt to mimic TV and film rather than a compelling theatrical experience.
