TL;DR

Chuck Lorre is developing a new series set in the same world as "The Big Bang Theory" for Max, the newly merged HBO Max-Discovery+ service. This will be the second offshoot of TV's longest-running multicamera comedy, following the prequel series "Young Sheldon." Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the new series will be produced by Warner Bros. Television, which has been Lorre's home for decades. "The Big Bang Theory" ended its 12-season run in 2019 and streams exclusively on Max.
