Malcolm in the Middle Returns in a Four-Episode Revival Led by Muniz

Variety reports the official trailer for a Malcolm in the Middle revival, titled Life’s Still Unfair, a four-episode limited series premiering April 10 on Disney Branded Television. Nearly the entire original main cast returns, with Frankie Muniz back as Malcolm alongside Jane Kaczmarek, Bryan Cranston, Chris Masterson, Justin Berfield and Emy Coligado. Creator Linwood Boomer is back as writer/EP, Ken Kwapis directs all four episodes, and the project is produced by Disney Branded Television and 20th Television. The revival picks up years after Malcolm shielded himself and his daughter from the family, only to be dragged back into Hal and Lois’s orbit for their 40th anniversary party. The series will also stream on Hulu and Disney+ for bundle subscribers.
