Matt Damon Shines in a Surprisingly Strong SNL Comeback
TL;DR
Matt Damon hosted Saturday Night Live Season 51, Episode 19, delivering high energy and sharp writing across a slate of standout sketches—from a BKavanaugh cold open and Mother's Day monologue to memorable bits like Godzilla Movie with precise spit-takes, the barbed Tough Guys sketch, and the Tidy Care Crystals ad parody, plus a lively Weekend Update with Tucker Carlson and a tense Auctioneers closer. The piece calls it one of this season’s stronger outings and hopes Damon returns soon.
