Mountain Lion Attacks Man in Hot Tub in Colorado and Arizona

A mountain lion attacked a man who was soaking in a hot tub with his wife in Colorado. The couple screamed and splashed water at the animal, causing it to back up a bit. The man suffered minor injuries and declined additional medical assistance. State wildlife officials set a trap to catch the predator. This marks the first time a lion has attacked a person since Feb. 27, 2022, and it’s the 24th reported lion attack on a human since 1990 that resulted in an injury.
