NXT Highlights & Spoilers: May 23-26, 2023
TL;DR
NXT finally found a groove this week with a taped segment featuring Bron Breakker explaining why he turned on Carmelo Hayes, while Melo focused on coming home and getting treated like wrestling royalty. The differences between their videos highlight NXT's struggle to know what to do with this feud. The show picked up towards the end with a weaponized cage match between Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne, and a battle between Dijak and Ilja Dragunov. Tiffany Stratton also took the next step with a win over Roxanne Perez, setting her up as a potential new NXT Women's champion at Battleground.
