Rabid Raccoon Attacks Spark Concern in Princeton

Princeton University and residents are on high alert after two people were attacked by a possibly rabid raccoon. The first attack occurred near the university's campus, and the second attack happened less than 12 hours later. The Princeton Health Department is warning residents to be cautious and report any sightings of the raccoon. Animal control is working with the university to locate and capture the raccoon, and individuals are advised to keep children and pets away from wild animals and ensure their pets are up to date on their shots. Rabies is rare but can be fatal if left untreated.
