Fatal Crash on Gene Snyder Freeway Leaves One Dead, Another Injured

A man was killed and another hospitalized in a crash on the Gene Snyder Freeway in Louisville. The accident occurred when a pickup truck lost control and collided with an unoccupied vehicle in the emergency lane. The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. The freeway was closed for several hours and has since reopened. The Louisville Metro Police Department's Traffic Unit is investigating the crash.
