Fatal Drunk Driving Crash Claims Young Socorro Man's Life

A 24-year-old man from Socorro, Texas, identified as Gabriel Magana, died in a drunk driving crash after crashing his car into the back of a pickup truck on Gateway East Boulevard. The driver of the truck suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. Investigators suspect that speed and intoxication were contributing factors to the accident. This marks the sixth traffic fatality reported by the El Paso County Sheriff's Office Special Traffic Investigators this year.
