Tractor-trailer driver found after going off Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel

The driver of a tractor-trailer that fell off the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel has likely been found deceased in the submerged vehicle, according to the U.S. Coast Guard. Recovery efforts have been challenging due to the location of the vehicle, but a crane barge will be used to lift it out of the water. The driver was the only person in the vehicle, and was hauling landscaping supplies. The investigation is being handled by the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel Authority Police. Reports of a good Samaritan diving in to help were false.
