Wisconsin revokes Minocqua Brewing licenses; owner vows fight

Wisconsin regulators revoked two Minocqua Brewing Company Brewer's permits and one Alcohol Beverage Warehouse permit, effective Aug. 4, after enforcement actions tied to permit compliance and a June seizure of beer over alleged unpermitted interstate transport and unpaid taxes; the company, which also operates in Madison, can appeal to the Department of Revenue and, if needed, to a hearing examiner with the Secretary of Revenue overseeing the process, and may continue to operate during the appeal.
