"Contradictory Bodycam Footage Emerges in Times Square NYPD Assault Case"
TL;DR
Newly released video footage contradicts the NYPD's account of an altercation with a group of migrants that led to a melee in Times Square. The videos show the men initially complying with police orders to disperse, but an officer then confronts one of them, leading to a physical altercation. The Manhattan District Attorney's office has indicted several individuals involved in the attack, but questions remain about the police's initial approach to the men and the roles of those charged.
