Tennessee Militia Member Arrested for Plotting Sniper Attack on Southern Border

A Tennessee man, Paul Faye, has been arrested for planning to travel to the southern border with an arsenal of weapons and explosives to "stir up the hornet’s nest" and act as a sniper, according to federal officials. Faye, who expressed anti-government sentiments and sold an unregistered firearm suppressor to an undercover FBI agent, faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison if convicted. He had been on the FBI's radar for a year and had allegedly coordinated with militia groups from multiple states.
