"Indiana Mom Receives 42-Year Sentence for Torture Death of 4-Year-Old Son"

Mary Yoder, the mother of a 4-year-old boy who was duct-taped, tortured, and beaten to death over potty training, has been sentenced to 42 years in prison for neglect and abuse of her children. Her son, Judah, was found naked and covered in bruises, and an autopsy revealed he died as a result of a homicide. Yoder's husband, Alan Morgan, is already serving a 70-year prison sentence for the murder. The abuse and killing took place in their Indiana home, and Yoder also pleaded guilty to a separate felony domestic battery charge for abusing another one of her sons when he was a toddler.
