"32-Year Fugitive Greg Lawson Finally Captured in Mexico, Laughs as He's Handcuffed"

A Louisiana fugitive who had been on the run for 32 years was captured in Mexico after a tip received by the FBI. Greg Lawson, now 63, had fled town before being found guilty of attempted second-degree murder in 1991. Video footage released by the FBI shows Lawson laughing as he is handcuffed. He was arrested in Huatulco, Mexico, and is now awaiting action by Bienville Parish authorities. The FBI had suspected Lawson had fled to Mexico from the beginning of their search.
