"Alabama Judge Critically Injured in Alleged Shooting by Son"

Alabama judge Johnny Hardwick, of Montgomery County’s 15th Judicial Circuit, is in critical condition after allegedly being shot by his son, Khalfani A. Hardwick, following a domestic dispute. Khalfani, who has a history of violence and was convicted in 2014 for shooting someone else, has been charged with first-degree domestic violence and with certain persons forbidden to possess a pistol.
