Armed Suspect Arrested for Seizing LADWP Vehicle in Atwater Village

A man led police on a chase and barricaded himself inside a stolen and bullet-riddled LADWP vehicle in Atwater Village, Los Angeles. The standoff lasted for over two hours before law enforcement swarmed the suspect when he emerged from the vehicle and climbed onto its roof. The suspect's crime spree, which included crashing into multiple vehicles, was captured on camera. Three officers were injured during the incident.
