"Arrest Made in Fatal Shooting of 14-Year-Old in Peoria"

The Peoria County Coroner has identified the 14-year-old boy who was shot and killed on Monday night as Omarius Gates. Peoria Police have arrested Tramier Pate, 23, for first-degree murder and attempted robbery in connection with the shooting. This incident marks Peoria's 10th homicide this year and comes just 10 days after another teenager was killed on Father's Day.
