Arrest Made in Shocking Murder: Kids Witness Father's Fatal Shooting

A man, identified as Solomon Sadiq, was arrested for allegedly shooting and killing a father, Dione Fowler, in Tallahassee after bursting into an apartment where the children were home alone. The incident occurred when Fowler and his wife left their children briefly to go to a convenience store. Sadiq, a licensed security guard who did not know the family, entered the apartment and demanded a cellphone charger, claiming someone had been shooting at him. The children hid under a bed and called their parents, who rushed home. Upon their return, Fowler was shot by Sadiq in a hallway. The incident was captured on a 911 call made by Sadiq himself. This marks at least the 43rd serious shooting in Tallahassee this year, with nine people killed and 33 injured.
