Arrests made in fatal shooting of well-known Casselberry promoter

One man has been arrested and another is being sought in connection with the shooting of Dereck Lavon Cummings, a well-known promoter who was found dead at his condo complex in Casselberry, Florida in January. Casselberry police Chief Larry Krantz said evidence shows Cummings was approached by the two men who tried to rob him. Cummings led the two suspects away from his home where his family was, but was found dead near a vehicle that had significant damage. An arrest warrant has been issued for Bobby Houston Bridges, who is considered armed and dangerous.
