Attempted Murder Charges Filed Against Man Who Fired Shots Outside Memphis Jewish School

Joel Alejandro Bowman, a former student at Margolin Hebrew Academy in Memphis, has been charged with attempted murder and other crimes after allegedly firing shots outside the school. Unable to enter the school, Bowman fired several shots before fleeing the scene. He was later stopped by a police officer and was shot after allegedly getting out of his vehicle with a gun. No one at the school was injured. Bowman remains hospitalized in critical condition.
