Aurora Police Release Video of Fatal Shooting of 14-Year-Old
TL;DR
The Aurora Police Department released body-worn camera videos showing an officer fatally shooting 14-year-old Jor’Dell Richardson last week after he ran from police who were investigating suspicious activity. The weapon on Richardson was a pellet gun made to replicate a handgun. Richardson was surrendering when he was shot, family attorney Siddhartha Rathod said. Richardson's family called for justice and transparency, and hundreds marched around Aurora City Hall demanding accountability for the shooting.
