Authorities Seek Help Identifying Human Remains Found in Barrel at Lake Mead
TL;DR
Police in Nevada have released composite images of a man whose remains were found in a barrel at Lake Mead last year. The man's identity remains unknown, but investigators believe he died from a gunshot wound decades ago. The images, created by the FBI, were shared with the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System. The discovery of the remains was made possible by the receding waters of Lake Mead due to an ongoing drought.
