Autopsy Reveals 'Cop City' Protester Shot 57 Times by Police

Manuel Paez Teran, a protester opposing the construction of a law enforcement training center near Atlanta, was shot at least 57 times during a police confrontation in January. The autopsy report revealed that the wounds were so extensive that a loose round fell from the left sleeve of one of the shirts. The proposed Public Safety Training Center, dubbed "Cop City" by opponents, has drawn protesters to its future site in a forested area of DeKalb County outside of Atlanta. The family and its representatives said they still have too many unanswered questions about their loved one's violent death.
