Baltimore Police Release Body Cam Footage of 17-Year-Old Shooting

Body camera footage has been released of the police shooting of a 17-year-old in southwest Baltimore on May 11. The police officer attempted to stop the teenager, who was believed to be concealing a gun, and engaged with him until he fled on foot. The officer chased the teenager and fired four shots, hitting him once. The teenager remains in stable condition in hospital. The gun was recovered at the scene and was found to have been stolen from a car in Baltimore in June 2021. The commissioner is waiting for the results of the investigation before commenting on the officer's actions.
