Bay Area police make multiple arrests in Lego heist and small business robbery cases.

Four suspects were arrested for stealing Lego bricks worth over $3,500 from the Lego Store at Hillsdale Shopping Center in San Mateo. A store employee followed the thieves to the parking lot and observed them getting into a rented Volkswagen Jetta with a driver. The police tracked the car and found a handgun and Lego bricks during a search. Two men and a woman from Richmond and a 17-year-old from Hercules were arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit a crime. Charges for the firearm are pending further investigation.
