Boyfriend Charged with Murder and Arson in Case of Missing St. Paul Woman

Joseph Steven Jorgenson has been charged with the murder of his girlfriend, Manijeh "Mani" Starren, who has been missing since late April. Surveillance footage showed Jorgenson pushing Starren back into their apartment, and he was later seen carrying bags from the apartment. Jorgenson used Starren's EBT card for transactions and made suspicious online searches. A foul smell was reported in Jorgenson's apartment building, and blood stains were found in his apartment. Starren's body was discovered in coolers and a duffle bag in a storage unit. Jorgenson is also connected to another missing woman.
