Boyfriend kills girlfriend over abortion in Texas.

A man in Texas, Harold Lavance Thompson, is suspected of shooting and killing his girlfriend, Gabriella Gonzalez, after she went to another state for an abortion. Thompson had an active family violence strangulation warrant from a March incident in which Gonzalez was the victim. Thompson did not want Gonzalez to get an abortion, and he shot her in the head after trying to put her in a chokehold. He is charged with murder and assault of a family/household member/impeding breath or circulation and was denied bond. Gonzalez had three children from a previous relationship.
