Chicago Overnight Violence: Six Shot, Three Killed, One Stabbed Citywide

Six people were shot and one stabbed overnight in separate Chicago incidents, leaving three dead. Victims ranged from 24 to 45 years old, with shootings reported in Albany Park, Austin, Little Village, East Garfield Park and Back of the Yards. Incidents included a 24-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the hand; a woman stabbed to death in Albany Park; a 24-year-old man shot in Austin (in fair condition) and a 32-year-old man shot in the temple (died at the scene); a 29-year-old man shot in Little Village (died at the scene); and a 45-year-old man shot in East Garfield Park (listed in critical condition). A Back of the Yards victim was found unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds and pronounced dead. Police provided no further details at this time.
