Co-conspirator in Lazzaro sex trafficking case sentenced to 3 years

Gisela Castro Medina, a co-conspirator in a sex trafficking scheme run by former political donor Anton "Tony" Lazzaro, has been sentenced to three years in prison and five years of supervised release. Medina pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of minors and aiding and abetting sex trafficking by obstruction. She testified against Lazzaro, stating that she used social media to recruit teenage girls for him to pay for sex. Lazzaro was previously sentenced to 21 years in prison for his involvement in the scheme.
