Colorado Teen Arrested for Planning Multiple School Shootings

William Whitworth, a 19-year-old former student of Timberview Middle School in Colorado, was arrested for allegedly planning a mass shooting at the school. Whitworth, who identifies as Lilly, was found to have floor plans of the school and had admitted to wanting to shoot up the school. The planned shooting was allegedly in the works for "a month or two," and part of the plan included listing firearms and how to 3D print them and writing out a manifesto. Whitworth had a list of people "to be killed" in a notebook, and while the middle school was the main target, Prairie Hill Elementary and Pine Creek High School were also potential targets. Whitworth is facing two counts of first-degree criminal attempt to commit murder, criminal mischief, menacing, and interference with educational institutions.
