Columbus Police Investigate Body Found Sunday Morning

A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found dead early Sunday morning in Columbus. Dale Deon Williams, 39, was pronounced dead at 4:11 a.m. on Floyd Road. Columbus Police Officers responded to the 4900 block of Buena Vista Road concerning a shooting. Another victim was transported to Piedmont Columbus Regional for a gunshot wound and was treated and released. The Violent Crimes Unit is investigating the case.
